Lewisburg Neighborhoods exists to enhance the Lewisburg community through programming, advocacy, and grant-funded community projects.
Green Team is a group of volunteers who meet weekly to care for Mariah's Garden and Lewisburg Landing riverside parks. They focus on invasive species removal and planting natives. At Mariah's Garden, they plant flowering perennials in keeping with the garden's original goal of having a plant in bloom every month of the year. They also help maintain the footpath to the river. At Lewisburg Landing, Green Team's efforts have taken a neglected brownfield and created a recreation retreat!
Donations to the Green Team fundraiser will be used to purchase plants and necessary supplies, as well as provide for volunteer training.
