Ellie's Heart Foundation was created in 2012 as a way to honor the life of Eleanor Lily Ayers who passed at 9 months of age from pediatric cardiomyopathy. The mission is to support and give back to Penn State Health's Children's Heart Group and the families they serve. In 2016 we were able to put that mission into action with the creation of Camp LionHeart, a week long camping experience for children ages 12-18 with congenital heart disease. Through donations to Ellie's Heart, the cost of camp is free to campers.

To preserve the memory of Eleanor Lily Ayers, by promoting awareness of pediatric cardiomyopathy and to assist children treated at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital and their families through care and familial support. We accomplish this mission through Camp LionHeart.
