An Abundance of Meals for ALL THE FEELS

Over the past year Eat Share has continued to build a community of dedicated volunteer chefs that provide warm meals to community members when it is tough to do it themselves. I have had the pleasure of providing meals myself and it feels good to help my neighbors in need. Our small, non-profit organization is just full of warm and caring hearts that like to share. Neighbors supporting neighbors. What better sense of community is there than that?

Requests are up in 2025 and we anticipate an increase in local food insecurity and the need for mutual aid as spending cuts are proposed to critical nutrition programs. 

There is no qualifying criteria or financial questions required to receive a meal or groceries from Eat Share. We take great pride in never saying “no” to a request, but sometimes, we do have to decline food donations. We believe that food insecurity isn’t due to a lack of enough food, but a lack of access. To continue to meet demand, we need to grow into a physical space where we can safely store and creatively redistribute excess food. To do this, we need your financial support to secure a small commercial rental and expand our operations and outreach.

Eat Share thrives in the hands of everyday loving, caring and busy individuals. We need a space to share with you and carry out our vision to the highest degree.
