Raise the Region = Raise Readers!

Every summer, the Degenstein Community Library encourages our community to embrace the joy of reading. This year’s Summer Reading Program, themed “Color Our World,” will span an exciting 8 weeks and feature daily activities for all ages.

In 2024, we celebrated incredible success: hundreds of children participated, and over 150 completed ALL 8 weeks of activities! Planning is well underway for this year’s program, with captivating presenters like PT Reptiles, Talewise, Page Turner Adventures, and the Susquehanna Garden Club.

All activities and events are FREE!  This Is Where You Can Help!

We’re raising funds to support Summer Reading by:

• Rewarding participants with books to grow their home libraries.
• Providing unique programming to inspire and engage our community.
