Hello! My name is Katy and I’m a proud Eat Share board member and volunteer.
Eat Share is a collective of volunteer home chefs who donate their time and resources to helping feed local families when it’s difficult for them to do so themselves. This can look like hand-delivered meals, emergency grocery drop-offs, free community meals, and (this is where you come in), eventually, in-house meals hosted in our very own, yet-to-be-realized community kitchen and event space.
We’re rallying again this year to gather support for our dream of having our very own space to host our neighbors in the spirit of filling bellies and renewing spirits, and for essential storage space. Please consider a contribution to our ongoing work of providing warm meals to those in need, combating food insecurity, destigmatizing asking for help, and offsetting food waste — but also building toward our dream of a future Eat Share CommUNITY Kitchen.
On a personal note, my involvement with Eat Share has wholly renewed my belief in the inherent goodness of humanity and given me a tangible way to uplift local communities. I’ve made connections and friendships with other board members, fellow volunteers, sponsors, donors, meal recipients, and others through this effort that have enriched my life immeasurably since my involvement.

Thank you! 💖 Katy
