Eos Therapeutic Riding Center

At Eos Therapeutic Riding Center, we see miracles happen in the saddle. A rider sits taller. A smile appears. A voice comes out. A body relaxes. Confidence grows.

For over 30 years, Eos has provided therapeutic horseback riding opportunities for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges across a six-county area in central Pennsylvania, including Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Union, and Luzerne counties.  In 2016, we expanded our mission to include a dedicated veterans program. Today, these programs now serve nearly 100 riders each year.

For many of our riders, Eos is one of the few consistent opportunities in our region to participate in safe, inclusive physical activity.  Families and professionals regularly share how riders show improved balance, coordination, communication, and emotional regulation, and this progress often extends beyond the riding arena.

This Raise the Region, your gift helps keep therapeutic horseback riding accessible for every rider. It also keeps our therapy horses healthy, safe, and ready to partner with our riders.

Rider fees cover only a small portion of the true cost to operate our program. Your support helps provide:
- daily feed and hay for our horses
-farrier and veterinary care
-safe tack and adaptive equipment
-rider scholarships to help cover lesson costs

When you give, you're supporting both sides of the team - the rider and the horse.
 No rider is turned away simply because of inability to pay.
