The Green Free Library

Last year's campaign helped make the library warm in the winter and cool in the summer, so now we are working towards providing the greatly requested HOOPLA platform.  This digital online platform with expand the The Green Free Library's collection of audiobooks, TV shows, movies, music, and much more -- all free for our patrons to download.  The more funds donated, the more items patrons will be able to access for their enjoyment and educational needs.  Any help towards our goal is greatly appreciated! 

During our library hours, a computer will be dedicated to anyone wishing to make donations to us or any participating nonprofit!  Staff and volunteers will be available for assistance during open hours.  THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE NONPROFITS OF TIOGA COUNTY!

As a resident of Tioga County, PA, or a visitor to Wellsboro, you must see the beautiful, historic library at 134 Main Street.  The Green Free Library has been a focal point for a community of lifelong learners for more that 109 years.  By supporting literacy, research, entertainment, and our community, we work to provide programs and activities that spur the imagination and creativity for the young and the young at heart.
