Susquehanna River Valley Dental Health Clinic

The susquehanna River Valley Dental Health Clinic exists to ensure that low income, uninsured as well as medicaid insured patients are able to get the dental treatment they need. We provide preventative, comprehensive and emergency dental services to a population in our community who are not able to be seen in private dental offices in our region due to lack of insurance and/or funding resources.  We are a safety net clinic for the needy and the working poor.   For our low income uninsured, as well as our medicaid underinsured patients, SRVDHC uses the low Pennsylvania Medicaid reimbursement rates as a basis for determining our service costs.  Because these rates do not cover the actual costs of providing care, we rely on generous philinthropic grant funding to balace the cost of serving patients.  SRVDHC provides routine as well as emergency care to patients as young as 1 year old throughout their life span.
