 GOAL: OUR OWN BUILDING...

Oasis has always been more than a building. It’s laughter after hard days, coffee shared between strangers who become friends, and a safe place to land when life feels overwhelming.

Our current space is struggling.

When it rains, we worry about flooding. Some members of our community can’t fully access our space because it isn’t accessible to people with disabilities. We do everything we can to make it work, but the building itself is holding us back from serving people the way they deserve.

We have big dreams for a new home for Oasis — one that is safe, welcoming, and accessible to everyone. A place where recovery, connection, and hope can grow without physical barriers or constant building issues.

Here’s the hard part: most of the grants we qualify for support programming, not purchasing or renovating a building. That means creating a permanent, accessible home for Oasis depends on community support.

That’s why Raise the Region matters so much.

During this 48-hour giving event, every donation helps us move one step closer to a space where no one is turned away because of stairs, and no one has to worry about buckets on the floor when it storms.

If Oasis has ever meant something to you…

If you believe recovery support should be accessible to all…

If you want to help us build a stronger, safer future…

Please consider giving during Raise the Region and sharing our mission with others. Your support isn’t just a donation — it’s a foundation for hope, healing, and belonging.

We can’t do this without you. 💛

ABOUT US

“Treatment is the starting point of recovery, not the finish line. After formal treatment ends, people return to everyday life where the real work of rebuilding happens. Oasis provides a safe, substance-free community where individuals can find peer support, connection, purpose, and healthy routines. We focus on long-term recovery by reducing isolation, supporting multiple pathways to recovery, and giving people a place to belong as they build a life they’re proud of.”

Treatment is often the beginning of recovery — not the finish line. Once someone completes detox, inpatient, or outpatient treatment, they return to everyday life where the real work of rebuilding happens. That’s where Oasis comes in.

Oasis is a community recovery center, which means we focus on long-term recovery support rather than clinical treatment. We provide a safe, substance-free space where people can build healthy routines, friendships, and purpose — all of which are critical for sustaining recovery over time.

Recovery doesn’t just mean stopping substance use. It means learning how to live well without substances. At Oasis, people find peer support, social connection, skill-building activities, wellness programs, and opportunities to give back. These things help reduce isolation, which is one of the biggest relapse triggers after treatment ends.

We also support multiple pathways to recovery. Not everyone’s journey looks the same, and we respect that. Whether someone uses 12-step programs, faith-based recovery, medication-assisted recovery, or other approaches, Oasis provides encouragement and community without judgment.

Most importantly, Oasis gives people a place where they are seen for who they are becoming — not just where they’ve been. Long-term recovery is about connection, confidence, and belonging. We exist to make sure people don’t have to walk that journey alone.
