The Middlecreek Area Community Center (MACC) serves Snyder County and the surrounding counties. Our facility in Beaver Springs, PA, provides various programs and services, including fitness programs for all ages, personal fitness equipment, basketball, volleyball, pickleball and shuffleboard leagues, racquetball, rock climbing, and more!
In addition, we offer medical outreach, community outreach, and family entertainment. Our medical outreach includes a weekly phlebotomy lab provided by Geisinger and monthly health screens provided by Evangelical's Mobile Bus. Our community outreach includes partnering with the Central PA Foodbank to distribute food every Tuesday at no cost to 100-125 households. We offer a variety of family entertainment events such as movie nights, game nights, nerf wars, the Daddy-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Dance, Trunk or Treat, and Kid's Fair, to name a few.
The MACC Childcare Program has grown since 2016 to reach its total capacity over the past 3 years. We participate in the Pennsylvania Keystone STARS Program, with a STAR 4 rating. Our childcare program includes full-day childcare for infants through preschool, school-age before and after-school care, a Rising Readers Program, and Summer Day Camp, which includes weekly trips to the local pool and weekly field trips.
