STEP is a Community Action Agency and we believe in the promise of Community Action:

Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

We achieve our mission by tackling multiple barriers that our customers face simultaneously. We often refer customers to multiple programs at STEP, and when the best solution for a need is found outside of STEP, we help our customers navigate the available services. STEP primarily serves individuals and families in Lycoming and Clinton counties.

Your donation will help us address the needs of families in crisis, help our customers transition out of poverty, pursue innovative programming, and build communities with more opportunities for everyone.
