Mission: Birds Unite Us. Lycoming Audubon’s conservation and education work, centered in communities, is driven by our enjoyment of birds and the natural world.
WE PROMOTE EDUCATION
- We offer Student Scholarships to one or more high school or college students with a demonstrated interest in the environment and the activities of Lycoming Audubon.
- Our programs for school groups at the Waterdale Education Center and in area schools inspire youth to learn about birds and their need for healthy forested, grassland, and wetland habitats.
- Our monthly programs are open to the general public and feature expert presenters on important birding and conservation topics from around our region, state, and nation.
WE VALUE CONSERVATION
- Our habitat restoration work at the Robert Porter Allen Natural Area is on-going.
