Founded in 1929 by 12 women, The Junior League of Williamsport is a group of women who have a commitment to community service, are interested making new friends, and most importantly, an interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation. We have committed over 90 years of service to Lycoming County. We have provided manpower, management and/or money to hundreds of organizations.
We are and organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
Our vision is that the Junior League of Williamsport is a regional resource and advocate committed to improving the quality of life for children and their families. While we serve the area through volunteer opportunities with local organizations, we have three main initiatives that help to support the area - CodeRed.Period, Kids in the Kitchen, and Baby's First Books.
