Expectations Women's Center

Expectations Women's Center provides fact and evidence-based education to empower individuals to make healthy choices that impact their lives emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We seek to build a culture where every life has value and hope is restored.

All services are confidential (as allowed by state law) and free of charge. We offer tools and resources in three main areas: healthy relationships, pregnancy and parenting.

All services at Expectations Women’s Center are provided in a non-judgmental way without regard to sex, age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability, or other arbitrary circumstances. We provide respectful, compassionate, and non-discriminatory care for every individual. Expectations Women’s Center does not unlawfully discriminate against any person or group of people in either hiring/employment practices or in the administration of programs and services, including on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our team is made up of seven staff members and a team of 40+ trained volunteers.

Trained volunteers serve as client advocates and receptionists. Client advocates walk alongside clients to provide education, tools and resources to make healthy choices. Receptionists are the friendly faces you see when you walk in the door -- or the friendly voice you talk to when you call us.

We serve five counties – Snyder, Union, Montour, Northumberland and Lycoming - from two locations.

There are a few ways you can support us.

Give monthly. A consistent flow of income through recurring gifts enables us to continue daily operations and helps us set a realistic annual budget. We are funded 100% by individuals, businesses and organizations, so your financial support is what keeps our doors open. 

Donate supplies. Help us keep our Wee Care Stores stocked by donating personal care items, maternity clothing (new or used) and baby supplies (new or used). You can use our Amazon Wish List.

Participate in an event. We have several events each year that help us raise funds. There's something for everyone!
