Deane Center for the Performing Arts

This year, the Deane Center for the Performing Arts proudly 🙌 celebrates 15 years as the heart of Wellsboro's cultural community. Since 2011, our stages and spaces have come alive with concerts, theatre, dance, art exhibits, classes, and gatherings that bring people together and enrich lives across Tioga County and beyond.

For fifteen years, the Deane Center has been more than a building, it has been a place where creativity flourishes, friendships grow, and community thrives.

You are the reason we do what we do! Our FREE outreach programs, Deane Little Beans and Golden Afternoons, connect with children and enrich the lives of our senior citizens within Tioga County. Our spaces host music lessons and recitals, meetings and special events, concerts and festivals, which create life-long memories and strengthen our community. Providing programs, entertainment, and space for you is at the heart of what we do at the Deane Center.

In 2026, we hope to raise $5000 to help fund our concert season. We are committed to bringing a variety of musical performances to Tioga County - Bluegrass, Jazz, Blues, Dance Parties, Classic Rock Cover Bands, and more. These concerts bring our community together in celebration of the performing arts in all its varieties. Ticket prices alone do not cover the cost of bringing these concert performances to our community. And, while we strive to find sponsors to cover the cost of these shows, it is often difficult to find enough corporate sponsors for every concert.
