Support Citizens Hose Company during this year’s Raise the Region and invest directly in the safety and resilience of Jersey Shore and the surrounding townships we proudly serve.
Citizens Hose Company is a 100% volunteer fire company providing fire suppression, rescue services, vehicle extrication, and emergency response across a large, rural coverage area. Our members respond day and night to structure fires, motor vehicle crashes, public service calls, and mutual aid requests—bringing professionalism, training, and commitment to every incident.
Funds raised through Raise the Region directly support critical operational needs, including rescue equipment and hydraulic tools, personal protective equipment, apparatus maintenance, facility upkeep, and ongoing firefighter training. As call volumes increase and equipment costs rise, community support is essential to keeping our volunteers properly equipped and response-ready 24/7.

Mission
The purpose of the Citizens Hose Company is to preserve life and property in the event of medical emergencies, fire, rescue situations, or any time called upon to preserve life and property while functioning within our scope of training and abilities. The department will maintain a state of readiness with state of the art equipment; professionally trained volunteers and standards based practices. We recognize that the activities or lack of activities of the fire department have an impact on our members, the citizens, the municipalities, government agencies, and the economy.
