Musicians from our area come together to present exceptional performances led by our energetic and engaging conductor, Gerado Edelstein. It’s more than classical… come enjoy pops and American music, Billtown Brass Band, free outdoor concerts, and a wide variety of guest artists, both local and internationally acclaimed. 

We are equally committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians. Our Young Artist Competition, Williamsport Symphony Youth Orchestra and Junior Strings ensembles provide transformative opportunities for young performers to learn, grow, and shine on stage.

At the heart of the WSO are professional musicians led by Maestro Gerardo Edelstein, whose artistry brings world‑class performances to our region. Your support makes these unforgettable musical experiences possible—right here at home. 

Our Billtown Brass band brings lively, crowd-pleasing performances in the traditional style of British brass bands featuring the full gamut of brass instruments.

Your generosity also fuels our commitment to education and access. Nearly 100 young musicians grow each year through the Williamsport Symphony Youth Orchestra and Williamsport Symphony Junior Strings, gaining confidence, discipline, and the joy of performing in a full symphonic ensemble. Through our Student Outreach Program, we connect schools across the region with live orchestral music by providing concert tickets and transportation support. Our Student Ticket Program ensures that cost is never a barrier by offering free and reduced-price tickets to students. We also broaden access through our Elder Outreach Program, which provides group discounts and transportation to elder care establishments to make concerts welcoming and accessible for senior members of our community.
