White Deer Community Park

The White Deer Community Park Association (WDCP) began in 1953 by a group of community members with the goal to provide recreational facilities for picnics, community social events and athletic contests. Still holding true to that mission, the WDCP continues to be a place for recreation, picnics and community social events by offering a community hall, pavilions, and the ball field as rental space to hold family gatherings, reunions, weddings, showers, birthday parties and more. 

The WDCP also hosts several events throughout the year to bring the community together including our Annual Family Fun Festival (July), the Wounded Warrior's Car Show (August) and new this year, the Bigfoot & Bluegrass Festival (October). Our final event for the year is our Community Tree Lighting in December. Along with hosting these community events, the WDCP has also hosted several fundraisers throughout the year to help us maintain the park for community use. 

The WDCP obtained its 501c3 non-profit designation in 2023 and has since embarked on numerous projects to enhance the park for our community. These projects include ADA accessibility to the community hall and pavilion areas, repairs and upgrades to the community hall, and a Veteran's Memorial. All donations received through Raise the Region will be used for these projects and overall maintenance of the park. We cannot continue to serve our community without the support of our community!
