Wesley Forest Camp and Retreat

A Legacy of Community

For 65 years, Wesley Forest Camp and Retreat has been a 450-acre sanctuary in the mountains outside Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. Whether you know us as the home of the Mifflinburg Outdoor Education experience, as a youth summer camp, or as a year-round retreat center, our values have remained the same: 

- We strive to cultivate an uplifting and loving environment where each person is wholly accepted and affirmed for exactly who they are. 

- Through time away in nature, our campers and guests experience rest, joy, creativity, wonder, and renewal. 

- We value brave spaces that empower young people to grow in confidence, explore leadership, and share their individuality. 

- We are committed to inclusion and social safety. We engage in ongoing learning and action toward racial justice and equity. 

- We strive to be known as a place of caring community, with room at the table for everyone. 

We welcome guests from across central PA, including Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Tioga, and our home Union County

Our Goal: $6,100 for 1961

We are thrilled to participate in Raise the Region for the first time! Our goal of $6,100 is a tribute to our founding year (1961), our deep roots in Union County, and our continued commitment to being a place of community and for community. 

Your Contribution: Elevating the Experience

100% of the money raised during this campaign will go directly to our Special Projects Fund - or as we like to call it the FUN Fund! Think of things like: outdoor movie set up, evening rec equipment, new PFDs for boating and stand up paddle boards, repairing our 'Monkey Bridge', and other engaging ideas our team will dream up!
