Addiction touches many lives in our rural community, and hope is needed now more than ever. Walking Free Clubhouse, founded in January 2025, offers a safe, supportive space for those affected by addiction in Snyder County, where resources are limited. With only six AA and one NA meeting weekly, the Clubhouse fills a vital gap, hosting recovery meetings like AA, NA, SMART Recovery, and Celebrate Recovery, plus Nar Anon and Families in Recovery. Members have access to peer support, a job search laptop, interview clothing, and showers. Walking Free also organizes a Second Chance Job Fair every spring and a recovery walk in September, helping individuals heal, reconnect, and reenter the community. It’s a welcoming, sober place to find support, share coffee, or play a game of pool—reminding everyone that recovery is possible and no one is alone.

Walking Free Clubhouse strives to offer a safe and comfortable environment for those living with various addictions. The clubhouse will offer access to build sober connections, sober activities, education, various resources, and various recovery meetings and supports for the addict, the families, and the community.
