Sojourner Truth Ministries, Inc.

Sojourner Truth Ministries is a loving, spiritual and inclusive Christian mission to the marginalized, homeless, food insecure and lonely in Williamsport, PA. Our services include: a hearty hot lunch six days a week with a message of hope; a food pantry with fruits/vegetables and bread/pastries (we pick up donations at local stores), emergency food care boxes.

We offer an After-School Kids program for high-risk children (homework help, tutoring, a meal, group lessons, social skills development, and Bible story two days a week).

Weekly group Bible studies; encouragement with sobriety; and social services to help, advocate, refer, and collaborate for those in need of community resources. Sojourners offers a place of rest, fellowship, and community for those who need it most, at no cost to patrons. 

In 2025, 35,835 lunches were served to people in need. 

Some of these funds will help our soup kitchen overhead and provide basic needs.

Who We Are

We are "so much more than a soup kitchen". An integrated soup kitchen ministry located in the heart of Williamsport that welcomes all persons in all walks of life. No matter where you’ve been, STM will meet you where you are.
We serve hot lunch Monday-Saturday, 11:30am-12:30pm, all are welcome! We also offer a selective perishable giveaway 3 days a week. Emergency winter wear, socks, health and hygiene items, warm blankets. 

Saturdays offer optional Dinner Table Church prior to the noon meal.
