NDA is a national nonprofit wildlife
conservation organization dedicated to ensuring the future of wild deer,
wildlife habitat and hunting. The NDA has members nationwide, including
more than 3,000 of the nation’s leading wildlife and forestry professionals.
As such, NDA is widely regarded as the most respected wild deer organization in
the United States. Our Branch was chartered in 2002 as a way to provide educational seminars,
workshops and field days for local hunters, landowners and everyone interested
in white-tailed deer and their habitat.
Our premier event is our Annual Youth Field.
We hold this event every year at no charge to youth ages 6 to 17. At the event youth are at taught how to safely use many items associated with the outdoors. These items include but not limited to archery, firearm safety and trapping. Throughout the years we have had presentations from bird dogs, deer tracking dogs and even a bear tagging! We hope that this event promotes the next generation of outdoors men and women.
We also hold our annual banquet in September to raise funds for this event and to sponsor any youth organization (4-h, baseball teams, softball teams) that reach out to us.
