Next Genesis Inc

Greetings! nEXt genesis, Inc. is a brand new non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals who are re-entering society after a period of incarceration. Ninety percent of people incarcerated in Pennsylvania state prisons will return home one day, but 60% will ultimately re-offend. Research long ago established substance abuse and mental health treatment, stable housing, education, and employment as the primary needs that, left unaddressed, lead people back to prison. Our goal is to usher inmates into successful re-entry by addressing all of these needs concurrently.

We aim to build a community offering transitional housing, basic life skills, job training and placement, connection to medical, mental health, and substance abuse services, and access to continuing education for inmates from local, state, and federal prisons who are returning to Pennsylvania with the goal of reducing recidivism.
