At Lycoming-Clinton Joinder, Our Mission Statement: We believe that individuals and their families have within their own power the ability to adapt and to deal with life's inevitable stresses and difficulties. The mission with which we are charged is to cultivate those adaptative skills in order to empower individuals and families in their community. We further believe that services which may be needed must be provided in a manner and setting which respects human dignity.
This is our second year participating in Raise the Region, and we are excited to continue this important opportunity to support our community. Through this campaign, we hope to fund critical basic needs for the individuals and families who participate in our programs. Your generous donation will directly support access to essential items such as toiletries, household supplies, hygiene kits, bedding, kitchenware, and clothing. These basic needs items help create stability, dignity, and comfort for those we serve.
The Lycoming-Clinton Joinder is a Human Services Agency comprised of many programs that work together to strengthen our community. Among these are programs that empower and support individuals and families, including Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities/Autism (MH/ID/A) services. These services work with adults and children who have mental and behavioral health challenges, as well as intellectual disabilities and autism.
The Lycoming-Clinton Mental Health Program, in collaboration with Lycoming County Children & Youth Services, has partnered to provide comprehensive support to individuals and families at risk of homelessness due to housing instability. This preventive initiative is designed to address both immediate needs and long-term stability, helping individuals and families remain in safe and secure homes.
Through this program, individuals and families receive a wide range of services aimed at strengthening resilience and promoting self-sufficiency. These services include financial literacy education to improve budgeting and money management skills, in some cases rental and utility assistance to prevent eviction or utility shut offs, and the provision of essential household items. Families also receive personal necessities, to support daily living and enhance well-being.
By combining practical assistance with guidance and resources, the program works to reduce stress, foster stability, and empower individuals and families to overcome challenges. Ultimately, this collaborative effort reflects a commitment to keeping families together, promoting healthy development for children, and building stronger, more resilient communities.
By donating to Lycoming-Clinton Joinder Board, you are directly impacting individuals and families in Lycoming County, ensuring they have access to the support, services, and care they need to succeed.
Give today and help us build a stronger, healthier future for the individuals and families in our community. 💙
