Loyalsock Valley Elementary School PTO

Thank you for visiting our Raise the Region fundraising page! We are the Loyalsock Valley Elementary School PTO, better known as the Valley PTO, and we are a group of parents and staff from a small school in rural Montoursville, PA. We have a little over 200 students and rely completely on fundraising and donations to operate. We work hard to collaboratively support our students and teachers by helping to provide supplies, materials, and activities for students and faculty, above and beyond those provided by the school district, thereby enriching the students' educational experience. 

Throughout the year, we fund field trips, with bussing, for every grade (K-4th). Without the money raised from PTO, these important field trips would not be able to happen. On some of these trips, we support local businesses and organizations, such as downtown Montoursville, Taber Museum, Community Arts Center, Lewisburg Children's Museum, Hiawatha, Little League Museum, Knoebels and more. 

Your contribution would also help other Valley PTO sponsored events throughout the school year such as:

• Glow Night for the community, at Snyder’s Farm in Montoursville.
• A trunk or treat event for our Valley Families.
• A bingo night for our Valley families.
• Christmas events for the community and our Valley families.
• At least two assemblies per year for our students, including "The Brain Game," an interactive assembly for all Valley students.
• Snacks, gifts and meals for our staff during in-service conference days and in recognition of various appreciation days throughout the year.
• Annual stipends to support teachers and classrooms, as well as additional funds or supplies as requested by staff.
• Activity days for students throughout the school year.
• Providing rewards and prizes for our Library and reading programs, as well as supporting our positive behavior incentive program.
• And SO MUCH MORE!

These trips and events provide additional educational opportunities, beyond the standard curriculum, which broaden the students' horizons, creating lasting positive memories of their time with us and, most importantly, help to foster a love for learning.  We love building a sense of community and school spirit for our parents, families, teachers, staff and students! We appreciate your support of the Valley!
