His Thousand Hills Inc

His Thousand Hills has hosted Christ-centered camps and retreats, as well as community events, for over 40 years. God has blessed us with 110 acres and ideal facilities for small and large groups (of up to 100 overnight guests). Kids, teens, young adults, men, women, and families have enjoyed fun activities, been refreshed by rest, and most importantly have found a dedicated time and place to step away from daily distractions and grow closer to the Lord and to each other. We are thrilled to serve churches, organizations, and the local community in the beauty and quietness of God's creation. 

Last year, with your help, we raised just over $5,000 to cover a significant portion of the cost of new decks on our 5 A-frame cabins (see picture above), where campers and guests stay over the summer and where our Planted gap year students live during the school year. Thank you SO much!! 

This year we are asking for your help to raise double that amount for another essential need! 

In Scripture we see the important role that meals and food play in relationships and discipleship. This is certainly true with camp, retreat, and Gap-Year ministries — campers, guests, and students all fellowship around the table. And so, in many ways, the HTH Lodge - which houses our kitchen and dining hall - is the heart of our facilities.

Our kitchen is greatly in need of new appliances! With YOUR help, we hope to replace an old and very inefficient fridge with two commercial refrigeration units — significantly increasing our food storage capacity, and doing so more efficiently — to account for the growth of our ministry to guests and Gap-Year students over the past few years. 

We also hope to replace our old and leaking ice maker, purchase an additional freezer, and make some other minor repairs to the kitchen itself. These upgrades will ensure that we are good stewards of both resources and finances, operating efficiently for years to come.

Our Fridge is on Strike! 

Our camp fridge has had enough. Years of overstuffed shelves, mystery leftovers, and the occasional oops-we-left-the-lid-off-the-maple-syrup incident have taken their toll. Now, it's barely keeping things cool, and honestly… it's looking pretty depressed (see below photos for proof).

We need YOUR help to bring in two brand-new, hardworking refrigerators that won’t give up on us in the middle of summer. Every dollar donated during our fundraiser gets us closer to fresh food, cold drinks, and not having to play “Is this milk safe?” ever again.
