Green Dragon Foundation

Founded in 2008, The Green Dragon Foundation is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to “enhance our student experience, assist our teachers and staff, and enrich our community by raising funds to support the priorities of the Lewisburg Area School District.”

Funds raised through the Raise the Region Event will help us enhance the educational experience of every student in LASD. With your support, district staff can provide exciting, hands-on experiences for our students that would not otherwise be available. By providing support for arts, academic and athletic programs that are outside of the usual annual school budget, students participate in engaging projects that make them excited about their education.

By giving, you’re not only investing in our students' education but also in their future, ensuring they have the tools they need to reach their full potential.

With Your Support...

We can continue to fund projects like the Fine Motor Activity Bins which were placed in all Kindergarten classrooms at Kelly Elementary this August. These simple and fun games strengthened students fine motor skills leading to a decreased need for occupational therapy support.

With support from donors like YOU, students throughout the district can experience exciting programs such as:

• New archery equipment for physical education classes at Donald H. Eichhorn Middle School.
• Visit by  Bryan Skavnak, author of "Be the Nice Kid" to impart lessons of kindness, inclusion and character to students in grades 3 through 5.
• Enhancements to high school art curriculum with i-Pads for new Digital Art classes and experiences such as Raku and stained glass art techniques.
• Academic competitions such as Model United Nations, Technology Students Association and Future Business Leaders of America.
