Green Dragon Foundation

Founded in 2008, The Green Dragon Foundation is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to “enhance our student experience, assist our teachers and staff, and enrich our community by raising funds to support the priorities of the Lewisburg Area School District.”

Funds raised through the 2025 Raise the Region Event will help us enhance the educational experience of every student in LASD. With your support, district staff can provide exciting, hands-on experiences for our students that would not otherwise be available. By providing support for arts, academic and athletic programs that are outside of the usual annual school budget, students participate in engaging projects that make them excited about their education.

By giving, you’re not only investing in our students' education but also in their future, ensuring they have the tools they need to reach their full potential.

With Your Support...

We can continue to fund projects like the Family and Consumer Sciences classes at the Donald H. Eichhorn Middle School. Last spring funding from the Green Dragon Foundation enabled the purchase of new sewing machines, irons and ironing boards, fabric for student projects and other supplies. The addition of this equipment allowed more students to work simultaneously and provided a safer environment. 

With support from donors like YOU, students throughout the district can experience exciting programs such as:

• New equipment to implement a tennis curriculum at the high school.
• Financial support for a new stage curtain at Donald H. Eichhorn Middle School to enhance their growing theater program.
• Support for literacy skills for young readers at Kelly Elementary.
• Academic competitions such as Model United Nations, Technology Students Association and Future Business Leaders of America.
