PRESENCE: Knowing someone is there in a moment of crisis

When women walk through our doors, they often come carrying questions and decisions they never expected. In those moments, words can fall short next to the real need in front of them.

We want to be the first place a woman thinks of when she wonders if she might be pregnant. Before panic sets in. Before she feels like she has to handle everything alone - knowing there is a confidential and welcoming place where she will be met with kindness, truth, and support - completely free of charge.

We want every woman who comes to us feeling uncertain to leave knowing she is not without options or support. Through free pregnancy testing, accurate information, and compassionate options counseling, we replace fear with understanding and isolation with practical help - so no woman feels forced into a decision.

We want our community to continue seeing Greater Hope as a trusted and invaluable resource; a place where families find real help, honest answers, and people willing to walk beside them long after the first visit.

Our focus has always been the woman sitting across from us, needing someone to listen. True care goes beyond a pregnancy test. Women long to be heard. To be respected. To know their future matters. To have someone believe they are strong enough to face what comes next.

That's why we do what we do and why your support matters to us. When you give, you help ensure the next frightened woman who calls will hear a calm voice. The next uncertain client will receive accurate information. The next family will discover hope where they expected only fear.

Did you know that Greater Hope is fully staffed by volunteers and funded only by donations? Therefore all the money received goes straight toward fulfilling our mission.

From one mother's crisis to protecting our local students ...

this is what your support made possible in 2025.

OUR MIRACLE STORY: A client we have walked alongside for more than five years came to us with joyful news: she was expecting again. We celebrated with her, helped her re-enroll in educational classes and began to carefully gather the supplies her growing family would need.

Then came the phone call no parent ever wants to receive.

At a prenatal appointment, doctors diagnosed baby with Trisomy 7 - a rare chromosomal condition often linked to serious developmental and health complications. In a single afternoon, the excitement of preparing for a baby was replaced by fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming questions but in that moment, what she needed most was not statistics. She needed someone to stand with her.

So we listened. We prayed. And with courage, she chose to continue her carry her pregnancy, embracing the unknown road with great love. We are delighted to share the news that baby was born completely healthy and is thriving in the arms of a family filled with gratitude and joy!

Stories like this are why your support matters. Because when fear meets compassion and when a woman knows she is not alone, hope has room to grow.

REACHING BEYOND OUR WALLS: Pregnancy resource centers often meet women and young people at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, which means sometimes we encounter those at risk of exploitation or trafficking.

Therefore, we were proud to partner with the Jersey Shore Area School District and The ASSERVO Project, and sponsored assemblies for every middle school and high school student, along with a special parent education evening. Together, these events equipped families, educators, and students with practical tools to recognize warning signs and seek help safely.

Whether sitting beside one frightened mother or helping equip an entire school community with knowledge,  the mission remains the same: to be present when hope is needed the most.
