$10,000 Goal

We are providing a new resource based out of Lycoming County but also serving all surrounding Counties throughout the Susquehanna region and extending north to the New York border, to help with the rescue and rehabilitation of Pennsylvania wildlife. Not only do we rescue, rehabilitate and release, but we also volunteer some of our time for capturing and transporting (C&T) wildlife in need.

As we grow, we wish to provide different programs to include the local school districts and Colleges throughout Lycoming and surrounding Counties. These programs would include volunteering from the college students to be able to learn hands on what is required in the care of Pennsylvania wildlife as well as school district in class presentations.

At present time we are working on a smaller scale until funding is available to move to our larger property. The larger facility will enable us to supply a refuge to many species of wildlife that include diverse native animals, ranging from injured raptors and small mammals to reptiles and amphibians, all requiring specialized rehabilitation space.

Currently, we provide care for mammals such as squirrels, rabbits, and opossums. We are looking to advance our permits to include rabies vector species (RVS). To meet the requirements of the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), we must have pre-release enclosures constructed that meet their standards.
