Every Footprint Feeds a Neighbor

 Footprints of Montgomery Food Pantry is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to serving neighbors facing food insecurity throughout Montgomery and surrounding areas in Lycoming County. Our mission is simple, but vital, to provide food assistance with dignity, compassion and respect to neighbors facing hardship.  We believe no one should have to choose between food and other basic necessities. 

 Footprints currently serves 85-95 families at eac distribution, including seniors on fixed incomes, individuals with disabilities and families doing their best to make ends meet. We are open twice monthly and on an as-needed basis.  We rely on a dedicated team of volunteers who generously give their time to stock shelves, greet clients and ensure anyone walking through the door feels welcome and supported. 

 While we are deeply grateful for community food drives and donations, many people are surprised to learn that Footprints purchases most of the food stocked on our shelves. Rising demand means we must buy essential staples to meet the needs of families we serve. In addition to purchasing food, we cover utilities, refrigeration, storage, insurance and other operational expenses to keep the pantry running safely and efficiently.
