For 30 hours, DIG Furniture Bank is raising the region... one bed at a time.

Right now in Snyder, Union, and Northumberland counties, children, parents, and even seniors are sleeping without proper beds. A bed is more than a piece of furniture. It’s rest. It’s safety. It’s dignity. It’s the foundation for everything that comes next.

Recently, we received a referral for a woman in her 80s who uses a walker. After her home was condemned, she moved into a small new apartment with almost nothing. When we spoke with her, she shared that she had been sleeping on top of plastic storage totes.

Not a mattress.
Not even a couch.
Just two plastic bins.

That’s what a lack of resources can look like in our community.

This year, 100% of funds raised during Raise the Region will go directly to our Good Night’s Sleep Fund, which purchases brand-new beds for local families and neighbors in need.

On average, it costs:

• $145 for a twin mattress and frame

• $170 for a crib mattress and frame

• $205 for a full bed set

• $235 for a queen bed set

In just 30 hours, our goal is to raise $10,000 - enough to fund new beds for people like the woman we served, and for the many more neighbors who deserve to sleep safely and comfortably.
