Danville Riverside Food bank provides monthly assistants to needy families in our area, regularly serving approximately 300 families per month. We are partner agency of Central PA Food Bank.
We serve between 300-350 families monthly, plus crisis calls as needed. Our food comes from the Central Pa Food Bank and local donations. We also give families Gift Cards according to family size of $20-$50 to purchase other needed items. We have 40-50 wonderful volunteers who give their time during the month and on giveaway days.
We are a charitable 501(c)(3) organization, and a partner agency of Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.
Our monthly distribution is held on 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Shiloh UCC in Danville, PA.
We are also available 365 days a year to handle food emergencies as they arise. There is no pre registration required.
We welcome volunteers and interested persons to join us in our mission! We encourage the community to support us through the donations of goods or financial support.
