Who We Are
The Danville Area Community Center (DACC) is more than a building — it’s the heart of our community. Since 1986, the DACC has been a welcoming place where people of all ages can connect, learn, stay active, and build healthy lives together. As a nonprofit community center, we serve thousands of individuals each year through youth programs, educational initiatives, wellness activities, and events that bring our community together.
Today, the DACC is expanding its impact through programs that support children, teens, families, and veterans. From summer camps, afterschool care, and youth sports to swim lessons for local students, mental health initiatives like Mind at Easel, and our growing Veterans Thrive program, the DACC continues to evolve to meet the needs of our community.
We are also in the midst of our $1.5 million capital campaign, “Embracing Our Legacy, Growing for the Future,” which is helping us renovate and improve our facility so we can serve generations to come. These improvements will allow us to expand programs, create new opportunities for youth and families, and strengthen the DACC as a hub for community connection.
From infants to those in their 90s, the DACC offers fitness, fun, education, and fellowship for everyone.
